MAPEI’s portfolio now includes a complete solution for natural and engineered tile installations in all settings.

Says the company: ‘Developed for internal and external environments, the high performance range spans subfloor preparation products; adhesives and grouts; a landscape mortar system; UltraCare protection and maintenance products and Profilpas accessories.

‘New adhesives to join the range include Mapei Keraquick Easy S1 – a rapid-setting flexible cementitious flooring adhesive for ceramic, porcelain and moisture-stable stone and mosaic tiles. Ideal for fast-track renovations in heavy trafficked areas, as well as general commercial and domestic settings, the new adhesive can be used inside and outside.

‘It’s also ideal for the installation of larger format tiles, due to its excellent wetting out ability.’
Also new for 2024, Mapei’s pre-blended mortar system, MapePave, is a ready-to-use system for the fast installation of natural and engineered stone pavers externally, all year-round. Ideal for 20mm porcelain and natural stone, the new system provides normal setting and controlled shrinkage for fast-drying bedding and installation. MapePave includes three products: MapePave Slurry, MapePave Mortar and MapePave Brush in Grout.’

Designed for professional and end-user application, Mapei’s UltraCare range is said to provide a solution from tile installation to ongoing maintenance and renovation, in private and commercial settings. Alongside cleaning and protection treatments, the range includes problem-solving solutions. The latest products to join the range include UltraCare Rust Remover, which can be used on acid-sensitive natural stone and external porcelain and UltraCare Stain Remover, which reportedly removes oil and grease stains from porous tiles.

Concludes the company: ‘For neat transitions and pristine finishing, floor height differences and ramping – internally and externally – Mapei Profilpas external pedestals, internal profiles and skirting boards offer a wealth of design options. Finishes include aluminum, brass, stainless steel and chrome-plated brass, PVC, wood-effects and LED trims.’
